Editorial Intern:

Dailybreak is looking for an intern who is content-savvy and hungry to learn about digital publishing and editorial. The Dailybreak team creates trending stories, as well as interactive games that engage the reader, so we expect a lot from our intern.

 

We’re looking for curious minds with big ideas, smart opinions and a desire to share what’s happening in the world in a fast-paced, fun environment.


In addition to helping the editorial team out with day-to-day tasks, your job is to take what makes you curious, confused, angry, upset or amused and turn it into something worth reading.

In order to be considered, we require two writing samples on trending topics. If you have your own blog and/or social media accounts, please list it out in the application.

 

 

Internship Program Overview:

An internship at Dailybreak means being an integral part of one of our many teams. Through both observation and hands-on experience, the DB internship program is built to provide students with a real-life learning environment where they can be part of the process in a collaborate start-up like environment. We offer internships in a variety of departments across Dailybreak and Breaktime Media, though availability for internships in specific departments may vary each semester.

Eligibility: *Rising seniors or equivalent College/University status & post-graduate candidates who are within one year of graduating from a four-year undergraduate College/University.

 

Internship term- September 11, 2018 -  December 7, 2018
Time Commitment: Interns must work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Compensation: $11/hour
