You have the writing personality and style clients seek to create the best marketing campaigns for their products. Your editorial know-how and experience with brands make you the go-to person to bring a sponsored story or ad campaign to life. You know what keywords readers are using when they’re looking for their favorite products. Not only that, but your creativity has a way of engaging and converting the reader into a customer. If the information is complex, you know how to turn it into easy-to-read, interactive content. You are the well-rounded writer companies would bend over backwards to hire, because your skill set ranges from marketing and sales know-how to clever, must-click storytelling.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with creative marketing copy
  • 3-5 years of experience writing for brands
  • Eagle-eyed attention to detail
  • Excellent overall writing and editing skills in a number of different styles and tones
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Excellent research, organizational and learning skills
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Experience with online marketing and lead generation
  • Passionate about learning and adapting to varying topics and brands

 

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, English or Communications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the internal sales team to ideate and pitch clear and concise story ideas to include in external proposals
  • Drive reader engagement and compelling action through content
  • A clear understanding of how to weave the product into the copy, taking the direction from brands and creating a story that drives the reader to purchase the product
  • Working with graphic design, client services and product team to bring the client’s vision/thematic to life
  • Produce compelling short-form content that drives user engagement and retention, as directed by supervisor
