The Role: Account Executive, UK

Breaktime is seeking an Account Executive out of London to get in on the ground floor as we grow our offerings to the United Kingdom market. This person will be responsible for selling Breaktime’s unique digital content solutions to advertisers and agencies in the UK territory. Candidates must be highly motivated, possess outstanding communication skills, have demonstrated knowledge of the digital landscape and be willing to work in a fast–paced, dynamic and growing environment. Selling involves all aspects of prospecting, building and managing a pipeline. Meeting are a combination of over the phone and in person with direct companies and advertising agencies. This position has significant earning potential and is an outside sales role working out of London.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role on the Breaktime team, closing new business that allows for targeting, engaging content and guaranteed results for high–value brand advertiser accounts
  • Prospect, develop, maintain and grow revenue-generating relationships with advertisers and agencies within UK territory
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas against the territory
  • Persuasively communicate offerings and unique value-proposition to advertisers and agencies via email, over the phone, through in-person meetings/presentations and through formal campaign proposals in a way that meets advertiser and agency business needs and marketing objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within an account, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account’s organization, needs and revenue potential
  • Act as the eyes and ears of the company in the UK working collaboratively with product, marketing and technology departments to innovate and execute sales and marketing strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
  • Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnerships
  • Represent Breaktime with the highest level of integrity

Requirements:

  • Proven sales success with a minimum of 2-4 years digital media or digital technology sales experience
  • Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with clients
  • Customer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional Closing Skills
  • Ability to operate independently away from company headquarters 
  • Understanding of social media or digital advertising space
  • FMCG Vertical experience a plus
  • Established relationships with UK marketing decision makers
  • BA/BS degree (MBA is a plus)
