Description

Breaktime Media is seeking an Account Executive to join our team. This person will be responsible for selling Breaktime’s unique digital solutions to advertisers and agencies in both a geographically based and/or named account list territory. Candidates must be highly motivated, possess outstanding communication skills, have demonstrated knowledge of the digital landscape and be willing to work in a fast–paced, dynamic and growing environment. Selling involves a combination of over-the-phone and in-person meetings with direct companies and agencies. This position has significant earning potential and is an outside sales role working in our Boston HQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role on the Breaktime team, closing new business that allows for targeting, engaging content and guaranteed results for high–value brand advertiser accounts
  • Prospect, develop, maintain and grow revenue-generating relationships with advertisers and agencies within a territory
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas against the territory and account list
  • Persuasively communicate offerings and unique value-proposition to advertisers and agencies via email, over the phone, through in-person meetings/presentations and through formal campaign proposals in a way that meets advertiser and agency business needs and marketing objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within an account, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account’s organization, needs and revenue potential
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
  • Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnerships
  • Represent Breaktime with the highest level of integrity

Requirements:

  • Proven sales success with a minimum of 2-4+ years digital media or digital technology sales experience
  • Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with clients
  • Evidence that you are a Top Producer (as defined by production results that put you at the top 5% of your peers) and/or, Over Quota/President's Club type
  • Customer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional closing skills
  • Willingness to travel to outside markets
  • Understanding of social media or digital advertising space
  • CPG Vertical experience a plus
  • Established relationships with marketing decision makers
  • BA/BS degree (MBA is a plus)
